Up the M5, and which side of the Severn
A34 to the M4, west to the M5 interchange at Almondsbury, then north on the M5 to Junction 11a or 12. The Almondsbury interchange is the only reliable pinch point and it is worst in the afternoon peak.
Gloucester's commercial areas sit around the edges rather than in the middle. Quedgeley and the southern estates come off the M5 at Junction 12. Barnwood and Gloucester Business Park at Brockworth are off Junction 11a on the eastern side. Neither needs the city centre, which is compact, historic and has the loading restrictions to match.
The Forest of Dean is a different proposition. It is west of the Severn, rural, and reached by crossing the river, so a delivery out there is a meaningful extra leg rather than a Gloucester postcode with a longer drive. We price it that way.

Goods in transit insurance is provided. Account holders are covered to £25,000 on a dedicated vehicle up to 3.5 tonnes, and on other services liability is limited to £1,000 per tonne.
